What is Oekotex? Oekotex is a European standard set primarily for the clothing and food industries. If a product is oekotex certificated it means it is certified safe to be used for wrapping food and for day to day wear. You can spend a lot of time on your mat and our customers find this extra peace of mind very satisfying.

Mat care Yoga mats are coated with a light lubricant during manufacturing to protect the mat during transit. If you find the mat slippery when you first use it, then we recommend cleaning it using a damp cloth and drying with a clean towel. To machine wash use a little mild detergent and a cool wash cycle (no more than 40 degrees). Don''t use the spin cycle. Allow lot''s of time to air dry (don''t use a tumble drier or radiator) and avoid folding or using the mat until it is completely dry.
